Friends of Belgenny Farm

The Friends of Belgenny Farm is a dedicated group of volunteers who are committed to supporting and safeguarding the future of Belgenny Farm for generations to come.

Through their time, enthusiasm and fundraising efforts, the Friends play an important role in ensuring that Belgenny Farm remains an accessible, welcoming and vibrant place for the community.

The Friends of Belgenny Farm Purpose

The Friends of Belgenny Farm work to:

• Encourage the use, enjoyment and benefit of Belgenny Farm by the community
• Increase community awareness of the educational, cultural, agricultural and historical significance of Belgenny Farm
• Assist in fundraising for the improvement and ongoing care of the site, in line with priorities approved by the Trust
• Support the promotion and development of Belgenny Farm
• Promote Belgenny Farm as a tourism destination of heritage and agricultural importance

All activities are undertaken in support of, and in collaboration with, the NSW Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development.

What the Friends Do

The Friends of Belgenny Farm:

• Assist with open days and public events
• Host guided tours for visitors from across Australia and overseas
• Provide hospitality, including BBQs and Drovers Camp damper and soup, for tour groups and special visits
• Support activities that help keep Belgenny Farm open and accessible to the public

Their contributions help bring the history and stories of Belgenny Farm to life for visitors.

Get Involved

The Friends of Belgenny Farm welcome new members who share an interest in heritage, agriculture, community and volunteering.

Members have the opportunity to:

• Participate in outings and social gatherings
• Assist at open days, tours and functions
• Contribute to the ongoing care and promotion of Belgenny Farm
